About Us

Founded in 1991 as a product development and engineering prototype service, Simple Innovations was created by Gregg Matter and Mitch Vilar to provide a way for smaller companies to access experienced design talent when they needed it. Now, with a team of employees that has over 100 collective years of design experience, Simple Innovations has grown into a thriving electronics engineering business and has designed embedded products in the consumer, medical, industrial, commercial, and sportsman’s markets, to name a few.

Simple Innovations continues to provide value to a wide variety of product markets and is capable of accomplishing anything from a proof-of-concept prototype to production support services. Specializing in microcontrollers and embedded product design applications, but well-qualified to provide services from initial product consulting to coordinated delivery of the products from local or off-shore manufacturing, Simple Innovations can do almost any facet of electronic development.
